How to copy AutoCAD drawing into MS Word document?

Use Edit/Copy (Ctrl-C) in AutoCAD and Edit/Paste (Ctrl-V) in Word. After pasting you can even start drawing edit session by double-clicking on the drawing object.

Additional comments (by "omega"): In AutoCAD Options change the model space background to white. CTRL-C to copy whatever part of the drawing that you need. In Word you can now use either Paste Special from the pull down menu for an embedded object, or CTRL-V to paste. Use the trim feature on the Picture Toolbar to crop away any excess white space because there will be alot of it. Right click on the drawing and choose Format Picture/Object. Choose Wrapping and choose Tight. It is now easier to move the drawing around and text can be placed next to it.
